Unwind in the peace and tranquility...

Owners Rob and Jan Davis offer traditional hospitality but contemporary accommodation at their recently established self catering cottages. Perfectly located - close enough to Lakes Entrance township and famous beaches, but far enough away to capture the tranquility of a woodland retreat.

Guests can relax in one of 6 secluded spa and woodfire cottages nestled in 8 acres of private, landscaped native gardens. Each spacious 1 or 2 bedroom cottage features quality furnishings, king and queen size beds, DVD/VCR/TV, fully equipped kitchen and laundry, and covered carports.

Additional guest facilities include two covered BBQ areas and outdoor kitchen, solar heated pool and a guest lounge with an open fireplace and heated spa.

Our retreat was designed to cater for clients expecting quality accommodation in Lakes Entrance – stylish design and fittings, privacy and spacious setting – inside and out, catering for couples and families. The property is within Lakes Entrance township but boasts rural and sea views, established trees and gardens and ample space to relax.

Rob's family has six generations of involvement with fishing and hospitality in Lakes Entrance and the name "Waverley House" recalls his grandparents' guesthouse. In each cottage, an information booklet and photos illustrate local history as do cottage names eg. Salmon Company and Fishpen.

The cottages are ideally located for touring this naturally magic region – Lakes Entrance marks the start of the spectacular Gippsland Lakes so take a cruise, hire a boat or do a day trip to the Alpine region, National Parks such as Buchan Caves and Cape Conran. The Ninety Mile beach is a two minute drive away or the region’s food and wine can be a tempting treat. Enjoy fresh local seafood straight off the boats or relax at a café or floating restaurant! Whatever your interest – Jan is happy to assist and is passionate about the many attractions of East Gippsland.
